Maawu helps you redact private content in photos on your iPhone. Pick a photo from your library, detect avatars and nicknames, faces, QR codes and barcodes, and text on this device, cover what you choose, then save or share a new redacted image. Your original photo in the library is not modified.

Maawu needs access to your photo library to pick a photo, detect and cover private content on this device, and save a new redacted photo back to your library. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Maawu.
If access was previously denied, tap Open Settings on the permission screen. This opens Maawu in iOS Settings, where you can turn on photo access. If you grant Selected Photos, the app can only see the photos you choose.
Detection and covering happen on your device, offline. Maawu does not upload photos to any server.
Every feature is free to try for 3 days after the first App Store download. Reinstalling does not restart the trial. You can also buy once and keep everything permanently.
Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. To restore a lifetime purchase, use Restore Purchases on the purchase screen or in Settings while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.
